Jonathan E. McMeen, Esq.

Jonathan E. McMeen is a trial attorney with more than 20 years of courtroom experience representing individuals, businesses, and public entities across Sussex County and northern New Jersey. A former Sussex County Assistant Prosecutor and Municipal Prosecutor for multiple towns, he has handled thousands of matters in criminal defense, DWI, workers' compensation, and civil litigation — and brings a prosecutor's inside perspective to every defense, anticipating the State's case before it is made.

Appointed by the New Jersey Supreme Court to the District XB Attorney Ethics Committee, Jonathan also lectures and writes on legal issues affecting local communities. He previously served as Vice President of the Board of the Center for Prevention and Counseling in Newton, New Jersey, supporting people confronting substance abuse. Clients work directly with him from the first conversation through resolution.
